About Lexense ITS
Established in 2024, Lexense ITS is a research spinoff company supported by the University of Texas Arlington. It aims to offer commercial-grade turn-key solutions for agencies to evaluate and operate the LiDAR-empowered traffic management solutions independently. We offer various turn-key solutions to freeways and arterials. The first deployment in the field was in 2019 in Irving and Arlington, TX. Since then, the solutions have been improved and expanded according to multiple agencies' interests. The turn-key solutions aim to allow agencies to operate and design their own scenarios eventually. . The Lexense team will help agencies deploy LiDAR solutions at various scales, from pilot projects to turn-key projects.
Lexense ITS's solution includes a full-stack system, backend core control algorithms, independent SDLC module and connections to traffic cameras, relays and CV2X RSUs. Lexense ITS also offers vendor-agnostic consulting on LiDAR selection, procurement decision support and training services for LiDAR deployment
